TERMS & CONDITIONS

By using this website or requesting services from Fire Island Container Service, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

Services

Fire Island Container Service provides dumpster rentals, container delivery and removal, waste removal, marine transportation, and related logistics throughout Fire Island and Long Island. All services are subject to availability, weather, marine conditions, site accessibility, and operational limitations. Submitting a quote request does not guarantee service or availability.

Pricing & Payment

Quotes are based on the information provided by the customer. Additional charges may apply for excess weight, extended rentals, special handling, additional transportation, prohibited materials, inaccessible locations, or services beyond the original quote.

Delivery & Marine Transportation

Fire Island service may require specialized marine transportation. Delivery and pickup times are estimates and may be affected by weather, tides, sea conditions, vessel availability, dock access, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Fire Island Container Service reserves the right to delay or reschedule service when conditions are unsafe or impractical.

Container Placement

Customers are responsible for providing a safe and accessible location for the container and obtaining any required permits or approvals.

Customers should notify us of septic systems, utilities, landscaping, fragile surfaces, or other conditions that could affect container placement. Fire Island Container Service is not responsible for damage resulting from placement in a customer-requested location to the extent permitted by law.

Loading & Prohibited Materials

Containers must be loaded safely and may not be overloaded or filled above the designated limit.

Hazardous or prohibited materials, including chemicals, fuels, paints, asbestos, propane tanks, batteries, and other regulated waste, may not be placed in containers unless specifically approved. Additional charges may apply for overweight containers, prohibited materials, or unsafe loading.

Cancellations & Delays

Cancellation or rescheduling fees may apply when equipment, personnel, vessels, or transportation have already been committed.

Fire Island Container Service is not responsible for delays caused by severe weather, unsafe marine conditions, transportation interruptions, government restrictions, emergencies, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fire Island Container Service is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our website or services.
